MODERN SLAVERY POLICY
MODERN SLAVERY POLICY
Effective Date: 26/05/2025
Last Updated: 26/05/2025
Introduction
Levels Property Management Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business operations and supply chains. We uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and expect the same from our contractors, suppliers, and business partners.
This policy sets out our approach to compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and reflects our commitment to acting with integrity and transparency.
Our Business
We are a UK-based property management company specialising in block and estate management services. While our direct operations are low risk, we recognise that risks of modern slavery may still arise within wider property services supply chains, including contractors, maintenance providers, and service suppliers.
Our Commitments
We do not tolerate slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chains.
We will take reasonable steps to ensure that all our employees, subcontractors, and partners understand and adhere to our zero-tolerance stance.
We conduct appropriate due diligence on our suppliers and contractors to assess and manage modern slavery risks.
Due Diligence and Risk Assessment
To prevent modern slavery, we:
Assess the risk of modern slavery in our supply chains.
Conduct supplier checks, prioritising high-risk areas (e.g., cleaning, construction, and maintenance services).
Require suppliers to confirm they have appropriate anti-slavery policies in place.
Training and Awareness
All staff are made aware of the risks of modern slavery and how to report concerns. We promote a culture where ethical conduct is expected, and speaking up about concerns is encouraged.
Reporting Concerns
We maintain an open reporting culture. Any employee, supplier, or stakeholder who suspects modern slavery is occurring within our business or supply chain should report it immediately to the management team or via our confidential reporting mechanism.
Review and Updates
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as required to ensure its effectiveness.
